welcome to the air academy
Air Academy membership is open to football players-male & female- in Grades 6 to 11- who are seeking to improve pass & cover skills in a non-contact setting. Members will have access to a weekly skills clinic/flag football game and can take part in unique special events throughout the year.
Here's the breakdown...
Academy Sundays
Members will have access to a 90 minute field session every Sunday. Led by Stefan Ptaszek & his staff comprised of USport/CFL Players and coaches, Academy members will receive 45 minutes of skills & drills and a 45 minute flag football game each week.

Weekly Game Plan
- 0:00 -0:10 Positional Warm up (QB, DB, REC)
- 0:10 - 0:40 Positional Skill Stations (QB, DB, REC)
- 0:40 - 0:45 H2O Break
- 0:45 - 1:30 Flag 5 on5 / Skelly 7 on7 Game

Special Events/Film Room
Air Academy members will have access to special events throughout the year designed to further their skills and passion for the game. Examples include: speed clinics, strength & conditioning sessions, university campus tours, CFL guest speakers, USport football tickets.
In addition, all weekly sessions will be filmed. Athletes' skills and 1-on-1 repetitions will be cataloged. Athletes will be invited to monthly ZOOM film sessions to recap the month's practices and celebrate the Air Academy's Highlights of the Month.
covid protocols
Air Academy will follow the Stage 3 Ontario re-opening guidelines for sport
- Physical distancing must be maintained, except if playing a team sport
- The total number people permitted in organized activities cannot exceed the outdoor limit of 100.
- Equipment must be cleaned and disinfected between user sets or at the end of a game.
Additional Protocols
- All coaches/players will be required to submit a Covid Screening Questionnaire prior to attending training each week
- All players will be given their jersey and set of flags
- Players will be required to bring their own water bottle/hand sanitizer
